Hudson Worthy is a member of the firm’s civil litigation and insurance defense groups. His practice covers a wide range of high-stakes matters, including complex business and commercial litigation, personal injury, professional malpractice, transportation litigation, and construction defect cases. Hudson has additionally developed a niche in cyber fraud and business email compromise litigation, helping companies recover from stolen wire transfers and sophisticated impersonation schemes.
Hudson served as a legal extern for the Honorable David C. Norton in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina for one semester during law school. He also spent a summer during law school as a clerk with Barnwell Whaley.
At Charleston School of Law, Hudson was the Senior Research Editor for the Charleston Law Review and was a Presidential Honors Scholar. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Sewanee: The University of the South in global studies, with a focus on economics and history, and a minor in finance.
In 2026, Hudson was inducted into Porter-Gaud School’s athletic Hall of Fame. A tremendously talented football player, he holds the records for single-season passing yards and touchdowns. He is also the school’s all-time passing yards leader, with 9,000+ passing yards thrown over his high school career.
When he’s not in the office, Hudson enjoys being with family, hitting the green, or spending the day on the water. He is also a devoted South Carolina Gamecocks fan, having played varsity football during his undergraduate studies.
