An experienced litigator, Jessica Stratta handles a broad range of matters for the firm’s civil litigation and insurance defense groups. Her diverse experience comprises of bad faith/coverage, civil litigation, construction defect, employment law, insurance defense, liquor liability, medical malpractice, personal injury, and premises liability defense claims.
With an eye toward minimizing risk, Jessica works with clients to develop a strategic defense. And when taking a case to trial isn’t the best course of action, she counsels clients through mediation to successfully resolve claims for all parties involved.
Jessica was an associate at a highly regarded national insurance defense litigation firm before joining Barnwell Whaley. While in law school, she was the associate editor-in-chief for the Resolved Law Review Journal, served on the trial advocacy board, and was president of the Environmental Law Society. Additionally, Jessica received accolades for working over one-hundred hours pro bono.
Outside of the office, Jessica is a yoga enthusiast and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with her husband and three dogs.
