Pamela Larson handles various matters for the firm’s civil litigation and insurance defense groups. Her diverse experience comprises construction defect, bad faith claims, appellate, personal injury, premise liability, and other insurance coverage matters.
Pam’s thorough approach to counseling begins with a critical assessment of settlement values and negotiations. She works with clients to develop a strategic defense to resolve disputes efficiently. Whether the matter can be settled out of court or must proceed to trial, Pam pursues the best course of action to minimize risk for her clients.
Pam was an attorney at a highly regarded international firm before joining Barnwell Whaley. During law school, she was a law clerk for the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General’s Sexually Violent Predator Unit, a Veteran Affairs Appeals team law clerk at a boutique firm in Columbia, South Carolina, and the House Ethics Committee Law Clerk at the South Carolina House of Representatives. She was the Circuit Court Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Maite Murphy upon graduating from law school.
Pam is a highly decorated United States military veteran, having proudly served our country for five years. She was awarded a Purple Heart, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. In 2012, Pam was named the Call of Duty Endowment’s Outstanding Female Veteran.
