Isabella Higgins is an associate handling civil litigation and insurance coverage matters.
Bella was a law clerk for Barnwell Whaley before joining the firm as an associate in 2024. She also clerked for the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office in the post-conviction relief division, focusing on criminal law, civil procedure, and rules of evidence, including their applications in select cases. During her time as a summer law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, Bella gained valuable insights into federal civil and criminal law.
In addition to her studies in law school, Bella was actively involved with numerous organizations. She was the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society Magister, an elected member of the Student Bar Association Legislative Council, and a John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court student member. Additionally, Bella served as Senior Staff Editor of the Journal of Law and Education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors at Clemson University.
