Alternative Dispute Resolution – Mediators and Arbitrators
Barnwell Whaley certified mediators and arbitrators work to reach agreement between the parties to a dispute, efficiently and cost effectively. As cases back up for years in court and the costs associated with litigation rise, more courts are requiring alternative resolutions before a lawsuit is allowed to go to trial, and many contracts specify binding arbitration or mediations as the only means to settle a dispute between the parties to the contract.
Our Charleston, South Carolina mediation and arbitration team has attorneys certified both as arbitrators and mediators, providing skilled, experienced, objective counsel to reach a resolution amenable to both parties. All members of the Barnwell Whaley mediation team are certified by the South Carolina Bar and are trained in dispute resolution techniques. They are familiar with the law applicable to a wide variety of disputes so that they can provide a neutral, balanced view to all parties in a lawsuit.
