Barnwell Whaley Managing Member B.C. Killough named Co-Chair of Intellectual Property Committee of the South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association
Barnwell Whaley managing member and registered patent attorney B.C. Killough was recently named co-chair of the intellectual property committee of the South Carolina chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Killough co-chairs this committee with Thomas Vanderbloemen of the Greenville firm Gallivan, White & Boyd.
A registered patent attorney and Best Lawyer, Killough has prosecuted hundreds of patent and trademark applications, and he has litigated patent, trademark and copyright matters. He teaches patent law as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, South Carolina and is a contributor to Practical Law Company’s South Carolina law summary in the area of Trademark Law and Unfair Competition Law. He holds a Martindale-Hubble Preeminent rating (the highest), and is a Permanent Member of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals Judicial Conference.
